How We Source Information

When multiple sources report conflicting details on the same topic (for example, differing rumored specifications or prices), we aim to note the discrepancy rather than present one version as certain.
Confirmed vs. Rumored Information
Technology moves fast, and much of our coverage involves upcoming products before their official launch. We hold ourselves to a clear standard on this:
- Confirmed information — Details officially announced by the manufacturer or company. We present these as fact.
- Expected or rumored information — Details based on leaks, industry reports, or informed speculation before an official announcement. We clearly label this language as “expected,” “rumored,” or “leaked” throughout the article — never presented as confirmed fact.
When official information becomes available for a topic we’ve previously covered as a rumor, we update the article to reflect the confirmed details.
Corrections
We are committed to accuracy, but mistakes can happen — especially with fast-changing specs, prices, and release dates.
